Last weekend Hayden and I took a road trip with my parents to St. James to see my sister, Emily, brother-in-law Scott and nephew John. We had a lot of fun just hanging out, playing with the boys, eating and watching movies. John and Hayden really love each other. It's so fun watching them. John is so funny and is such a silly little boy. He is getting so big. The story of the weekend was Grandma's influence....she was in the kitchen doing something and John was in there with her. She went to grab something out of the fridge and a cup of juice fell onto the floor. She yelled "oh $#!t!!" A couple of seconds later, John goes " oh shot!" It was pretty funny. And the tradition continues because those were my first words. They are my mom's favorite words! :)
Hayden has also started eating more solid foods. He is eating cheerios and other fun stuff. He doesn't feed it to himself yet, but hopefully he will soon. The other day at daycare he was sitting on the floor and pulled himself up to stand. Ann said "Hayden, what are you doing?" and he sat right back down on his butt. Little turkey!
It is my last week of work at Hospice, so I will be officially unemployed for the first time in several years on Friday. Hopefully something will come around. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
That's all for now - have a great week, everyone!
