Summer is almost officially here. The weather is finally starting to turn around and the last of our large snow pile has finally melted. We have heading outside when we can and finishing up end of the school year activities.

The night after the Boston Marathon bombing some friends organized a prayer vigil at the high school track along with a mile run. It was a chilly night, but it was nice to see us come together to think about others.

Hayden and Clara got to meet their little cousin, Ella! They thought she was pretty fun and they loved to hold her.

We went to St. James a few weeks ago to visit my sister's family. Emily invited me out for a fashion show fundraiser called Lip Stick Jungle. We had a lot of fun and I was able to meet some of her co-workers and friends. The kids also love seeing their cousins.

Lots of bike time lately!!!

Then we went to Grand Forks to see my cousins, Ashley and Clare and their families. We took the kids to the water park and they loved it!! We will definitely be doing that again soon!
My friend Danielle and I went to Fargo to tour homes in the Parade of Homes. We enjoyed dinner together and were able to visit without our kids needing out attention. Love our playdates, but love being able to just visit with my girlfriends!

We have cows that live next door to us, so we have been visiting Belle, Baby and B as often as we can. Clara LOVES them and asks to see the "Tows!" whenever we are outside. The cows come right up to us and the kids really like seeing them.
Bedtime stories with my babes!!

Lucy turned 6!!! So crazy that she as been with us that long.

Hayden and I took part in the Yowzer Strong 5k and youth run. Hayden was so excited to participate with his friends and to get a medal. He has been carrying it around all the time.

This week we went to Wahpeton to get Jason a new pickup. His old one wasn't doing so well and it wouldn't have been worth it to fix, so he got a new set of wheels. The kids got to enjoy some ice cream afterwards.
Hayden only has this week left of school and I took my last test on Wednesday. Such a good feeling to be done for the Summer. I am not taking any classes this Summer. I already started reading a book and am halfway through with it. I've missed being able to read for pleasure. I already have my list of books I will read!
We are looking forward to a weekend with sister and her kids and having our parents and Jason's grandma over on Sunday for Mother's Day.
Happy Mother's Day to all of you moms out there!!
