Who needs sleep??

It's 5:40am and I have been up since 2:30am.  UGH!!  I hate that!  So I decided to do something semi-productive.  Update our blog!  As they say, it just prepares you for the sleepless nights once the baby arrives.

The baby is soon to make his/her appearance so we are getting as much in while we can.  We took a trip to the Zoo in Wahpeton and went to the movie Cars 2, have gone golfing, took a trip to the farm for Jason's 10 year class reunion and today Hayden and I will go to Grand Forks to see THE WIGGLES!!  It's going to be like a rock concert for toddlers!  We are going with our friends Meg and Dillon and Hayden is SOOOOO excited.  I told him a week ago and everyday he says.  "We're going to the Wiggles with Dillon and I'm getting a treat!"  We had a rough night tonight getting to bed and as I was laying with him in bed he said, "Mom, can I still go to the Wiggles?"  So it's obviously a big deal to this 3 year old.  I will have plenty of pics and updates when we get back.
We are also planning a quick babymoon this weekend in Fargo.  Jason would like to attend a wedding dance of one of his clients and he knew I wouldn't feel that comfortable this close to due date with him in Fargo and me in Lisbon.  So he decided to get a hotel room in Fargo.  So Hayden will get to do some swimming and hanging out at the hotel.  One last outing as a family of 3!

Baby News....obviously no baby yet....but we are very close.  I had an appointment on Monday and things are progressing.  I go back Monday and my Dr. said that if things look good for an induction I could be induced on the 11th.  Tonight I told Jason that I try not to wish my life away, but I would be ok with skipping ahead a week.  I am VERY ready to have this baby and also a little paranoid.  Now that I know that things are progressing, everytime I feel the slightest feeling I feel like I need to rush to Fargo!  I would just rather not have this baby on the road.  We will wait and see. There might not be another post until the baby arrives, so we ask for your prayers for a safe and healthy delivery and baby.  We are VERY anxious to share the news!!

Here are a few pictures since our last post.
Hayden's last day of T-ball practice

Trip to the zoo.  The picture of Jason holding Hayden is of them in front of the PUMAS!  If you know Hayden you know that pumas frequent our house.  He always has a story about pumas and the naughty things they do.  So we had to take a picture in front of them.  You can kind of see him sitting up on top of the tree.
A couple weeks ago we went to Wyndmere to see my good friends there.  It was so fun to see these wonderful women and their hubbies.  We decided it has to be a yearly event!

Aw, that is a great picture of you girls at the end! I am so glad you all get together!

Good luck, Betsy! I will keep you in my prayers and pray that the baby comes soon, but NOT too fast. :) Can't wait to see pics and find out if it's a boy or girl!
