This past weekend we went to Sioux Falls and met up with my sister and her family to celebrate Sara's first birthday. My aunt Bonnie and my cousin's Erin and Carri also joined us. We had a lot of fun. The boys swam for hours and we ate lots and lots of good food.
The sequence of Hayden going down the slide. I think the boys went up and down the slide at least 100 times throughout the weekend.
Hayden said he screamed on the way down the slide. Here he is reenacting his scream.
Sara LOVED her cake and ate every little piece of it!
One happy little one year old!!! :)
Last week I ended up taking Hayden into the clinic to see if we could get an antibiotic for whatever he had been fighting for a few weeks. She said that she thought he had a sinus infection so she put him on an antibiotic and within a couple days he was doing much better. We are both much healthier.
On Monday I had my 14 week check-up. I met with my Dr. for the first time and he said everything looked good. We talked about a plan for when baby comes and I was given the bad news that due to regulations he cannot induce me before 39 weeks. So, the earliest he can induce me is August 1st. However, he told me if I go into labor on my own before then to get into the hospital as soon as I feel anything! It sort of stresses me out as I would rather have my baby in the hospital in Fargo than in Lisbon again or in the car on the way there. Obviously, we will see how everything goes. Hayden came with me and was a perfect little boy while I visited with my Dr. Which was reassuring. He got to hear the baby's heartbeat. I go back in 4 weeks.

Notes: We had lunch out with Jason's parents on Tuesday at the Pizza Ranch and then had dinner at our friend's, Katie, Eric, Tucker, Carly and Griffin. Jason and Eric were making some things for our church dinner this weekend so they were nice enough to invite us all out for supper. The kids played while the boys worked.
The wildrice soup I make is from Tastefully Simple. It is very good and very easy to make.
Jason is in charge of 2 dinner's this week as I am getting my hair cut and colored tonight and I am going scrapbooking tomorrow night at the catholic church here. Every month a group of girls get together to scrapbook. It's a lot of fun. I haven't been able to go since last May, so I'm excited to go again.
On Sunday our church is having a Sweetheart Supper. I am on the committee that plans the special events and this is one of our events. It's a lot of fun. I'll probably make something quick and easy for Hayden and the babysitter.
