We're BAAAAAAACK!!!

Here we go again...I'm hoping to be back to updating.  I only have a couple weeks left of class, so I should be able to do a better job throughout the summer.  So much has happened since last summer.  Here's a quick review.

  • Wefest in August
  • Hayden passed swimming lessons and learned to jump off of the diving board all by himself
  • Hayden went to Vacation Bible School
  • Clara turned 1 with an Owl birthday party.  We had lots of friends and family and Clara had a ton of fun.
  • We went to the zoo in Wahpeton with friends
  • The kids went on rides at the county fair
  • The kids started going to daycare one day a week.  They are loving playing with new friends there and are learning lots from the great caregivers there.  It has helped greatly with getting my homework done.
  • I ran in a 10k in Fargo with my sister and friend, Kara
  • Halloween - We had a dinosaur and butterfly and they had fun going from house to house
  • Clara, our little climber, fell off a chair and broke her arm.  She hasn't slowed down!
  • We had Christmas with both families.
  • We celebrated the New Year with friends
  • LOTS and LOTS of snow.  Sledding, snowmen, shoveling, etc.
  • Jason and I went to Mexico with friends.  We had a lot of fun.  The weather wasn't great, but we still had fun.  The kids had fun at the farm with grandma and grandpa Enger.
  • My cousin Ashley had a little girl, Ella Mae.  I got to be with her for part of her labor and meet miss Ella right away.  She is such a cute little girl!
  • Hayden has been enjoying his second year of preschool.  He could go to kindergarten next fall, but we have decided to wait a year to send him.  He loves going to school and playing with his friends.
  • We had Easter at the farm and the kids got to see brand new baby calves.
  • We went to Detroit Lakes to see my friend Meg and her family.  We went to the circus and got to go swimming.
Jason has been busy with work these days.  He has been going in early and going back into work after the kids go to bed.  He is getting anxious to start golfing and work in the yard.

I am almost done with another semester of classes.  I still have a few semesters to go, but after this semester I will only be doing classes within the pharmacy tech program.  I am also getting anxious to get out on the golf course.  I just got a new set up clubs and I can't wait to try them out.  I am still running when I can.  I am planning on doing the 5k and 10k in May during the Fargo marathon.  I was hoping to do the half this year, but with the uncooperative weather, I chickened out.  Someday it will happen!

Hayden is loving school, riding bike, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and is looking forward to turning 5 next month.  He is definitely the first born and likes to be entertained.  He is wonderful with his little sister and lets her play with him all the time.

Clara is busy, busy, busy.  She doesn't sit still for anything!  She learned the art of climbing out of her crib a month ago, so has not transitioned into a toddler bed.  She definitely keeps us on our toes.  She talks all the time and we are amazed by the new words she says every day.  She loves babies and is a good mama.  She struggled with the transition to daycare but since a new baby started going there a few weeks ago she doesn't even notice when I leave.

That's all for now.  I promise to do a better job from now on!! :)
