It has been such a nice week...we have gone on at least 1 walk a day if not 2 some days. Hayden loves being outside. It is in the 70's today so we went for a walk after lunch and when he wakes up from his nap we are going outside to do some yard work.
Today I had a meeting with the Ransom County Public Health director. She had contacted me a month or so ago after finding out I was no longer working wondering if I would be able to do a little bit of marketing for them on a consulting basis. So I will be doing a few hours here and there for them. I am really excited about it. Although it isn't a full time job it's something and it keeps me a little bit busy. Who knows what it might lead to.
Emily and John are coming home this weekend for a visit. We are anxious to see them. I'll post pictures of the boys next week.
Have a great weekend!

Little Fish!
Last week Hayden and I took a road trip to Detroit Lakes to get out of Lisbon. We went to visit Meg and Dillon. We got there around noon on Wednesday and had lunch with them and one of our fellow cooking club members, Ellie, who also lives in Detroit Lakes. It was so nice to get out of the house, have some adult conversation and catch up. After the boys napped we took them to the Community Center and went swimming. They have such a nice facility there and I am SOOOO jealous! I wish we had something like that in Lisbon. I know we would use it a lot. At first Hayden wasn't too sure of the pool. He was pretty clingy, but once he got used to it, he loved it. We were in there for over an hour. And little Dillon was so relaxed in the pool that he fell asleep. So sweet! We stayed over night and left on Thursday morning.
The swimming and being in Detroit Lakes made me even more excited for this summer. It shouldn't be too much longer. I talked to my mom today and they were out at the lake cleaning and unloading some stuff this weekend. And the weathermen say that it is suppose to be in the 70's possibly 80's this week, so I am looking forward to that.
Have a great week everyone!

Happy Easter!
We hope you all had a great Easter. It was such a nice weekend and I am SOOO glad that the weather is finally getting nice. We had a great time at Grandma and Grandpa Enger's over the weekend. We went down there on Saturday morning and Hayden got to see a baby calf. He didn't quite know what to think about it. Next year will be a different story. On Saturday night Jason and I went to Jamestown with his uncle and aunt, Jeff and Kris, while Grandma and Grandpa babysat. It was a much needed night out and a great time with them. Sunday the Easter Bunny came and brought Hayden lots of fun things. He even knew that Hayden loves Elmo and brought all of his things in an Elmo basket.
In the past week Hayden has changed so much, it's just amazing to me. He is now crawling all over the place, eating everything that we eat and throws a fit if he isn't eating what we are eating (picture above of him eating blueberries...he loved them!) and he even took about 6 or 7 steps on his own the other day. He loves walking back and forth between people. I don't think it will be too long before he takes off on his own. There won't be any looking back after that.

Thank you TIVO....American Idol
I LOVE reality tv and tv in general. I would much rather sit down in front of the tv and watch HGTV, Food Network, TLC, Grey's, Private Practice....the list would go on and on...then rent a movie. About 3 years ago we bought a Tivo. I am convinced they should hire me to be a sales person for them because I am pretty sure I could sell them to anyone. Not only is it great when I am watching tv in real time but it helps me watch the many many many shows that I record on a weekly basis. If you don't already have one....get one...or if you need more info on them or a DVR...ask me, I probably know! I will help you to love your Tivo or DVR just as much as I love mine. :) My favorite thing about it is that I can record my favorite show(s) and then come back the next day or even the next week and watch it when it is convienent for me.
I am not a HUGE American Idol fan and most seasons I don't watch, but this year I somehow got hooked. I usually tivo it...see reasons above! :) Today I was watching it from last night and Hayden was watching it while playing on the floor and he started dancing to the music and clapped at the end of every performance. I just love his little personality and how much fun he is. If you ask any American Idol fan who their idol is...they all have one and Kris Allen is my idol.

Other fun news and updates....Hayden is crawling! Really crawling! It is so awesome and I am so excited! I've even gotten it on video several times. When I figure out how to post videos on here I will show you all. :)
Also, I was contacted a few weeks ago by a local agency in town that heard I was no longer working to do some marketing for them on a consulting basis. The director contacted me again yesterday and said that her board gave her the go ahead to visit with me more about it. I meet with her in a couple weeks. I'm really excited about this opportunity. I'll keep you posted.
We are heading to Marion on Saturday for Easter. We are looking forward to the nice relaxing weekend ahead. And it looks like it's going to be a nice one weather wise. Hayden might even get to see some new baby calfs. I'll post pictures of that next week if we can!
