Baby on the way....

Our baby is coming - SOON! And it is starting to become a reality more and more every day. I posted a couple pictures of the baby's room and of me at 21 weeks. I am currently at 26 weeks and I realized that we only have about 3 months left. I am so excited and so nervous all at the same time. It's a very emotional thing. I have been feeling really great lately and I know that will change soon as I get bigger and bigger. But each time I feel the baby kick or I go and sit in the rocking chair in the baby's room I imagine the moment I look at our baby for the first time and a sense of peace comes over me.

One of my best friends Meg keeps stalking my blog waiting for me to post and she is sadly disappointed since I haven't posted since Sept. So this one is for you Meg.

The top picture is my family. This was our Christmas card this year. Even Lucy looked good for the camera.

The bottom picture is of my nephew John. He is growing so fast and this picture just makes me miss him. I haven't seen him since Christmas and I am sure he will be doing long division the next time I see him. I get to see him at the end of that month when my family will be in Alexandria at a resort for the weekend. I'll post new pictures then.

Just got back from a scrapbooking retreat. Got quite a bit done and had a great time with girl friends. I am tuckered out now, but it was worth it. I am looking forward to next year already.
